As the space hub for UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), we share a vision to enable people to discuss, create and participate in research and innovation. Adopting the core values of the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC) we will inspire and involve the public and students in the excitement of our science, technology, facilities and capabilities.

Our diverse and exciting space programmes, facilities and capabilities highlight the use of science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM). Our public engagement programme showcases some of the exciting projects we are involved in, actively encouraging and enabling young people, students and the public to take part in activities and join us at events.

We aim to increase the reach and impact of our programmes with a focus on raising science engagement within under-represented societal groups and communities.

Engaging students and the public in our projects, we aim to nurture a future generation engaged with STEM subjects, contributing to national efforts to close the skills gap in the STEM sector.
