Inspiring the next generation of space explorers
We’re opening up space to everyone. RAL Space’s national programme of events, activities and resources strengthens space education in the UK, helping young people and the public value space in their lives. We’re helping to shape a future space sector that everyone can benefit from and contribute to, regardless of their background.
What we do
- We collaborate with local community groups, museums, charities, teachers, artists, media, universities, national education or space organisations, and more to deliver meaningful outreach, often through funded partnerships.
- We focus on engaging young people in communities that are under-represented in STEM, creating opportunities for them be curious, build skills, and explore space science and technology.
- Our ambassadors bring our missions and discoveries to life to inspire the next generation of scientists, engineers and innovators.
