RAL Space Involvement
RAL was a Co-Investigator group on two Nexus mission proposals, contributing scientific expertise. RAL also offered to provide use of its ground station and the Blue Chamber calibration facility.​

Main Objectives

To study plasma flows in the solar atmosphere and provide EUV imaging and spectroscopy of high-temperature plasmas. Scientific questions included initiation of Coronal Mass Ejections, acceleration of the fast solar wind, particle acceleration in shocks and coronal heating.
