Charlie Haire
Head of Business Development

Charlie Haire joined RAL Space in 2023 as Head of Business Development.

Before joining RAL Space, Charlie led export and investment activities at the UK Space Agency, managing strategic relationships across the Indo-Pacific and Middle East regions. Earlier in his career, he worked across the renewable energy and environmental sectors, supporting investment in the UK offshore wind supply chain and driving export success for UK companies.

He holds a Master’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Nottingham.

As Head of Business Development, Charlie is responsible for working with industry, academia, and government to identify and develop new opportunities for the UK’s national space laboratory, strengthening RAL Space’s partnerships and global impact.
