RAL space provided the pointing control software for the second telescope, commissioned in 2014.  ​

Pan-STARRS is a system for wide-field astronomical imaging developed and operated by the Institute for Astronomy at the University of Hawaii. The primamry mission of the observatory is to search for near earth objects.
