On Thursday 18th April 2019, RAL Space will be at a free family science day at the Cornerstone Arts Centre from 10am-3pm.
The drop-in day will include hand’s-on activities such as rocket launching and exhibitions discovering how we look at the Earth, understand our Sun and have travelled to and orbited the moon. Celebrating the anniversary year of the Apollo Moon landings, join STFC scientists and engineers for astronaut training and discover whether you’ve got what it takes to be an astronaut!
Workshops are bookable on the day and will include planetarium shows and astronaut training.
