Instrumentation, the operation of the control and tracking centres and data analysis.

Mission Objectives 

To measure natural plasma and released tracer ions into the space plasma environment. To distinguish between spatial structure and temporal changes in the plasma phenomena initiated by ion releases from the IRM and in the natural magnetospheric environment.
