17th European Space Weather Week 2021

The 17th European Space Weather Week (ESWW) 2020 has been postponed and will now be held in Glasgow 25th - 29th October 2021.

The ESWW is the premier event for the European space weather community. It aims to brings together the world's space weather experts. Scientists and engineers from the space industry will meet with satellite operators, power grid technicians, navigation specialists and the aviation industry to work together to better understand the risks and to minimise the effect of the next big space weather event to affect the Earth.

The ESWW 2021 conference is being co-hosted by the Science and Technology Facilities Council's RAL Space, the UK Met Office and Institute of Physics with support from the UK Space Agency and the Department for Business Energy and Industrial Strategy and the City of Glasgow.

European Space Weather Symposium 2020

In order to bridge the gap for the space weather community, the ESWW2021 organising committee are running a fully online symposium for 2020.

The ESWS2020 online event will run live from Monday 2nd November 2020 to Friday 6th November 2020. These sessions have been timed to run from 13:00UT to 16:00UT to try and best facilitate access for all time zones. Sessions will also be recorded and made available on the website.
